Nose: A very interesting nose with a rich dried figs, some tangy citrus aromas, smoke and sweet peat, orange and toffee, tropical fruits, smoked meats, some vanilla and dates. This dram is exceptional on the nose, we can only guess what the palate will be like if its this good. 
Palate: On the palate we discover more of the rich fruits from the nose, with whipped toffee and fudge, some dark chocolate and salt, hints of red apple and spices, pineapple chunks and salt water taffy, coastal smoked fruits and stew bales, chipped wood, hints of leather and damson jam.  
A nice rich and complex caol Ila with a balance of sherry cask and the luxuriously rich style of Islay
