Benrinnes 2012 Little Brown Dog - 55.4% ABV
The Little Brown Dog team have sought out this delicious Benrinnes Oloroso hogshead cask and bottled it to share it with the world! The oily richness of the distillery’s worm tub condensers shine through, complemented by the bold fruit notes. And the Speyside distillery’s red chimney is resplendent on the label!
Tasting note:
Nose: Sweet but with an aromatic woodiness, there’s vanilla custard, tinned red fruits and a dash of cedar wood.
Palate: Nutty, rich and fruity, there are dried tropical fruits, sultanas and a touch of cinnamon, along with red Strawberry Laces sweets.
Finish: Medium length and drying with a hint of floral tea.
