A beautiful tea-spooned malt from Whisky Sponge. Edition No.87 is a 1996 vintage Burnside, fully matured for 27 years in a refill hogshead cask. Limited to 316 bottles at 53.9% ABV.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Waxy green apples and pears alongside honeyed cereals
Palate: Beeswax, acacia honey, stone fruits and a waft of floral heather
Finish: Honey prevails with lingering malty notes.
