This unconventional single grain from Teeling is made from a mashbill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley before being aged in American red wine casks. It's distilled in exclusively column stills and offers a distinctive red berry profile.
Nose: Red berries hit the nose immediately, followed by nutmeg and cloves.
Palate: A coating mouthfeel with juicy strawberries and red grape coming through.
Finish: Tannins from the wine offer a lovely drying finish to this sweet whiskey.
