This amazing expression from Teeling has been matured in Australian Shiraz wine casks, its going to be a very different taste to the previous release matured in ex-madeira cask.
Nose: Elegance beyond words on the nose. Sweet fruity and creamy from the start, hints of soft vanilla and icing sugar, berries, raisins and hints of red apples and sweet juicy red grapes and a final hint of cinnamon and glazed buns.
Palate: Summer sweet fruits, hints of cinnamon and gentle ginger notes. Victoria sponge cake with fresh cream and melted white chocolate, honey roasted almonds and cherry pie with a sweet shortcrust pastry.
The finish is superbly balanced rich creamy and fruity with a slight toasted oak and hints of maple, chocolate truffles and strawberry.
