Ex-bourbon cask matured full bodied Islay from Port Charlotte
Nose: Punchy rich smoke and peat with a creamy elegant mid aroma, some sea spray with barley sugar twists and fishing boat nets.
The nose grows a little more in the glass with a drop of water at room temperature to reveal some honey vanilla and ginger biscuits with a spiced smoke and charcoal.

Palate: This is a very nice Islay thats for sure, some vanilla and smoked meats, pears in spiced syrup, the addition of water has really pushed this dram forward showing a lot of delicate smoke and peat, white peppers and chocolate.
