Nose: Cocoa and vanilla pod, with citrus and honey notes, some dried spices and tangy citrus, with a little all spice to round off the nose.
Palate: The palate opening is rather rich and full bodied, some deliciously oily notes, tangy citrus and dark fruits glide across the palate, a tangy medicinal tone arrives ahead of a rich gingery and chocolate tone that fills the palate, with a sweet spice and peppery finish including a hint of balsamic and liquorice heading into a nutty and fruity finish.
This expression has a lot happening on the nose and palate, a great old school rum that’s full of classic flavours.
