Last Ward 2007 (Mount Gay) Habitation Velier 59% - 70cl
A very unusual Triple distilled Rum from Mount Gay distillery Barbados, it states on the label over 65% of the Rum was lost to evaporation from the cask or Angels Share! The ABV is still an impressive 59% Vol.
Nose: Subtle with a sweet spice, some vibrant hints of citrus and floral notes, with a contrasting coastal aroma of summer side fruit, hints of shaved pine and crispy coated almonds.
Palate: Salted caramel and white chocolate, some damson and peach, spices with a hint of soft leather and tobacco leaf, some sweet tropical fruits and a dash of soft paprika. Some toffee and honey add a rich balance in the finish.
