A wonderful expression here from Irish whiskey bonder, JJ Corry! The Gael is a blend of grain and malt whiskeys matured and blended by Louise and the team over on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. It’s all about luscious stone fruit, waxiness and fresh apple – it’s a vibrant delight!
Tasting note:
Nose: Hints of fresh bergamot, beeswax, apricot and cinnamon, with the soft grain shining through.
Taste: Ripe white stone fruit and lime, with a crisp minerality, pink peppercorns, lush vanilla and gentle toasted oak.
Finish: Medium length and lingering, with toffee wrapping up dried grapefruit and apple.
