This is a six-year-old Irish whiskey, matured in ex-bourbon oak casks before being finished in an ex-Tequila casks
Nose: Some toasted oak and hints of cereal, a rich and tangy aroma flows in of agave, some candied orange, with a rich nutty and fruity aroma flowing out of the glass with ease.
Palate: Extraordinarily rich and fruity notes on the front of the palate, some vanilla and soft pepper notes, herbal and sweet at the same time, citrus and salted toffee, some springtime grass, and hints of tropical fruits throughout the palate.
A lingering rich and very enjoyable finish.
