Havana Club 7 Year Old 40% ABV
A fabulously aged Cuban rum which showcases the role of the Rum Master. Matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, every aspect of production – from fermentation and distillation to ageing and blending – has been honed to showcase the rich, full-bodied, pronounced character. Havana Club 7 works brilliantly neat and on the rocks, but also shines in a range of cocktails. Wonderfully versatile!
Nose: Opens with sticky molasses and sweet, juicy tropical fruit before nutmeg and an aromatic earthiness come through.
Palate: The tropical fruits become more stewed, with vanilla pods, allspice, anise and cigar tobacco adding weight and depth.
Finish: Medium length but meandering, with more pineapple and an oakiness.
