A decadent nose opens with woody florals, milk chocolate, nutmeg, earthy violets and hazelnut praline, before raisins, liquorice and rose water arrive. There’s caraway too, as well as a resinous tree bark character.
Toasted nuts, cinnamon and ginger cake build a sumptuous, dessert-like profile, with ice cream wafers, icing sugar and dark chocolate adding to the sweetness. Violet, geranium and a nutty praline element add complexity.
