Doorly's XO Rum 43% Vol
This blend of pot and column still rum from Foursquare distillery in Barbados has been matured for at least six years and finished in an oloroso sherry cask.
Nose: Dark fruits, some leather and polish, red apples and springtime flowers, toffee crisp and succulent sultanas and raisins.
Palate: The sherry cask played out well on the nose and its doing the same right here on the palate, some sweet pepper, strawberry and some black pepper, ruby chocolate coated raisin’s a slight orange and hard candy note take us to a superb finish.
