Distilled back in 2006, this single cask release has been aged in a refill bourbon hogshead, which allows the fruit-forward character to shine. A beautiful bottling that sums up the spirit of Bruichladdich.
Nose: A dessert-like nose opens with golden syrup, poached pears, lifted by a zip of fresh apple.
Palate: Freshly polished wood comes through, along with luscious mango and juicy sultanas, founded by an earthy spice quality.
Finish: Long and lingering, with more tropical fruit and a drying clove finish.
