100% pot still rum from Jamaica’s renowned Appleton Estate, released in collaboration with renowned bottler Velier. This is a beautifully aged expression, bottled at a remarkably sippable 63% ABV – one to sit back and sip. One of 5,000 bottles released.
Nose: Rich, dark and sumptuous dark chocolate, treacle and Christmas cake give a luxurious introduction.
Palate: Bold and round, the robust palate offers stewed pineapple, honey, orange peel, nutmeg and an aromatic tobacco box quality.
Finish: Long, lingering, with more cooked tropical fruit and a surprising hint of smoke.
