A fantastic single cask expression that will delight all sherried whisky lovers! Matured back in 2011, this 11-year-old has been drawn from a first-fill sherry hogshead filled at the coastal Highland distillery. Released at natural colour and cask strength, it’s an unusual choice of barrel for the maker.
Tasting notes from the bottler:
Nose: Complex aromas sandy beaches, hazelnuts and raisins
Palate: An explosion of flavour. Rich and oily, a touch of salted butter extremely well balanced by pure juicy fruits and Christmas pudding. A stunning balance of sherry, fruit and seaside hints.
Finish: Caramelised salted nuts
