Highland Park 10 Year Old 2014 Little Brown Dog 60.1% 70cl
A mysterious expression from Orkney’s Highland Park distillery, released by independent bottler Little Brown Dog. While we know that the whisky was distilled back in 2014 and aged for 10 years, we don’t know much else! It was filled into a – direct quote – ‘random barrique’, where it spent its maturation life. According to the LBD team though it was a “pleasant surprise”, with the whisky offering an array of complex dried fruit and smoky notes. Just 314 bottles have been release.
Official tasting notes:
Nose: Chopped dates, woodshed, dunnage warehouse
Palate: Fresh fig, candied peel, fine funky peat.
Finish: Cinnamon, last night’s bonfire
