Islay distillery Bruichladdich is known for its commitment to soil health, and its Organic Barley releases are a celebration of both ecological sustainability and provenance. This 11-year-old expression is made with fully traceable organic barley and was distilled back in 2011. Aged mostly in first-fill barrels, ex-wine casks also make up a portion of this unpeated single malt. The buttery nose offers banana and citrus notes, while cereal tones and herbal touches come through on the palate. A rich sumptuous expression that shows you can make whisky while looking after the earth.
