It’s a vatting of single malts from Dornoch and Ardnamurchan distilleries, aged in quarter casks that previously held peated Islay whisky. The results are as intriguing as it is delicious. There’s a load of tropical fruit and cereal notes, followed by bonfire smoke and almost a eucalyptus element. Thought to be a one-off bottling, if you’re a fan of traditional Highland malts, this is a must-try.
