If you like interesting cask finishes, this one's for you! This release combines both peated and unpeated whisky which is then finished in a cask which previously held Jamaican rum. Un-chill filtered and bottled at 55% ABV, this funky and vibrant liquid is one to try.
Nose: Farmhouse funk, overripe apricot, wafts of hay and notes of lemon sorbet.
Palate: Burnt brown sugar, like the top of a Crème brûlée. Dried banana chip and salted cashews make for a really interesting flavour profile.
Finish: Candied orange peel in dark chocolate with a prickling finish of star anise.
