Wildmoor 30 Year Old Rugged Coast 42% 70cl

Wildmoor is a brand-new collection of blended Scotch whiskies from William Grant & Sons – the family-owned business behind Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. The range draws on reserves held by the family to create expressions that evoke the distinct landscapes of Scotland. Malt Master Brian Kinsman has developed the recipes, which celebrate every geography, from sweeping white beaches to perilous mountains. This release, aged for three long decades, conjures up the country’s dramatic coastlines. Sweet Speyside malt is matched with powerfully peated Island single malt, with both sitting in a bed of classic grain. It’s a gorgeously balanced expression with ashy smoke, caramel, soft spices and a gentle nuttiness.
