Tomintoul 10 Year Old 40% ABV

A much loved Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, Tomintoul has a reputation as a gentle sipper. This expression has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and is an absolute treat to sip. The distillery was built back in the 1960s and was named after a nearby village of the same name.

Tasting note:

Nose: Wonderfully balanced malty, green notes. Vanilla and caramel come through, along with orchard fruits and a dusting of coconut.

Palate: Medium bodied and smooth, honeyed cereals jump from the tasting glass alongside more malt, milk chocolate, and marmalade on toast.

Finish: Medium length with some sweet spices coming through.
