Nose: With a rich coastal note pushing through but not aggressively so this single malt is opening nicely on the nose, with a creamy tropical fruit note, some iodine and pepper, hints of lime and light lemon add a freshness to the nose, spices and tangy fruits round the aromas off nicely.
Palate: Lots of flavours roll across the opening of the palate including a warming wood smoke, barbeque embers and spices, baked apple and cinnamon turnovers, spiced vanilla and soft iodine, as this dram opens the mid and late palate are alive with a tangy rich and very aromatic tasty fruit, warming sweet smoke notes right to the end of this amazing single malt.
