An incredibly exciting release – the first publicly available release from Speyside distillery Roseisle! This is the first opportunity to get a feel for what its signature style may evolve into. And it’s a fascinating expression from a distillery billed for its versatility. Here the 12-year-old bottling is selected from first-fill ex-bourbon and refill casks which show off its fruit-forward nature.
Tasting note:
Nose: Lots of vanilla amid a cake-like nose. Cereals shine brightly alongside poached peaches and white chocolate.
Palate: Medium weight with a creamy texture before the vanilla theme evolves into something much spicier. Orchard fruits abound alongside a dusting of coconut.
Finish: Medium to long with gentle spices and black pepper.
