A full nose opens with toffee, bread-and-butter pudding, cake mix and desiccated coconut notes, all set against a saline backdrop. With time, icing sugar, caramel, zested peels and chocolate eclair notes build, before an intriguing dark woodiness emerges.
A delicious continuation of that complex nose, the palate opens with bright, zesty yet creamy citrus cheesecake notes. Richly textured, there’s an abundance of orchard fruit and floral honey, as well as a generous hazelnut praline element. It’s all backed by that signature Pulteney maritime oiliness.
