Peychaud's Aperitivo 11% ABV
Familiar with the world-famous Peychaud’s New Orleans Creole bitters? This is a similar flavour profile, but in aperitivo liqueur form! It’s a delight mixed with sparkling wine for summer spritzes, or indeed on its own over ice. The brand is named after Antoine Amédée Peychaud, who came to New Orleans from San Domingo, modern-day Haiti, and started a French apothecary.
Tasting note:
Far sweeter than its bitters cousin, there’s loads of orange peel here along with grapefruit, cherry, and a subtle earthiness.
