Montelobos Ensamble 45.3% 70cl
A fabulous artisanal mezcal made from papalote agave, with some espadin and tobala varieties in the recipe too. The idea is to showcase the huge spectrum of flavours within the plant, from dense fruits to complex smoke.
Nose: Fresh bright and creamy citrus notes opening the nose perfectly, hints of dry oak and soft vanilla pod, spices, dried herbal notes.
Palate: Sweet spiced pear, citrus, a touch of flaked almonds, lemon cream and soft white pepper, the citrus notes are now in the driving seat across the palate, a lingering finish with a touch of spice and soft lime.
