Nose: With a rich aroma of apple and peach, some soft vanilla and hints of ginger, some lingering aromas of fresh baked cookies, spring time flowers, ripe dates and glazed buns, a touch of cinnamon and honey round things off nicely.
Palate: Summer fruit pudding, some orchard fruits like ripe pears, delicious red apples, grapes, some crumbly Scottish shortbread with new season honey, a touch of soft ginger bread, spiced almonds, soda bread, hints of creamy citrus icing, little hint of ripe damsons, soft orange and chocolate, with a rich mellow spice that mingles nicely in the finish.
