This wood expression from the team at Mackmyra distillery is a flavour pack dram.
Nose: some sweet peppery notes rich hints of pineapple and other exotic fruits with some rich chocolate notes. Resin and peach and dates with some crisp red berries and grapes.
Palate: Finished in port wine casks that help to push this dram across the whole palate with the most sublime tangy peppery like note, some dark chocolate, with a few moments in the glass you will discover a ripe berry like fruity note, creamy whipped toffee and vanilla pod. pears and cream come forward with every sip.
