Nose: No mistaking this as a Macallan with its classic fruity nose, a more vanilla note comes into play as this is as the name suggests a mix of wood, a light red berry note, some dry spices and honeydew melon like sweetness.
Palate: The sherry cask note is a little more forward on the palate but again a little more balanced with softer creamy vanilla notes, soft warm waffles with strawberries and cream, some sweet spices and dried orange peel, a lingering smooth finish is packed with fresh baked scones and summer fruits.
