Nose: Islay through and through with an abundance of smoke and peat, burning embers naturally but they have a slight sweet edge of summer fruits and delicate pepper.
Palate: Treacle tart with a hint of fennel seeds, warming smoke and peat relaxes you into the Islay taste experience of this Islay dram.
TCP with a rich iodine and pineapple mingling together with balance as more smoke and peat wrap this dram together, the sherry notes are here as a slightly tangy orange and tangerine edge, herbs with sea salt and caramel cookies.
Let this open in the glass with a drop of water if that feels like the path you want to take or drink as it is after dinner.
