The second crop from Lochlea's Ploughing edition. This stunning whisky is a celebration of the Lowland distilleries agricultural roots. Lochelea has an unwavering commitment to the authenticity and meticulous crafting of it's whiskies. The site itself is established on Lochlea Farm which was once the home of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns.

This whisky gets its phenolic smokiness from the ex-Islay barrels the liquid is matured in. A twist on the classic Lochlea flavour profile.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe fruits, vanilla bean and hints of cinnamon.

Palate: orchard fruits, barley, liquorice and a hint of peat smoke.

Finish: lingering sweet smoke.
