This is a rather special limited edition 100% Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured.
Nose: Plumbs and plenty of rich dark fruits, winter berries and rich dark fruit cake, some golden notes of honey, brioche, a nice sweet tangy note with a touch of light ginger and aniseed, some lingering sweet spices and ripe figs.
Palate: The front of the palate has a nice delicate almost creamy texture of dark sweet autumnal fruits, glazed cinnamon buns, ripe soft plumbs, succulent dates, ruby chocolate and strawberry cheesecake, some soft vanilla and honeycomb, the finish is warming and smooth with hints of dark toffee and spice, some hints of malt bread and honey glaze.
