Palate: Dry spices with baked apple, salted peanuts and crisp green grapes, citrus and mild honey leading to a salted caramel and rich building peat smoke. Some superb and rich dried fruits and sweet toffee in the lead to the warming rich iodine and smoke of the finish to this great vintage Islay.
