Nose: Some rich Islay notes as expected with a twist of sweet spices like nutmeg and cinnamon sticks, some poached pears and tangy ginger root, some wet forest adding a rich undertone to the aroma almost like orchard fruits.
Palate: A big bold and fruity start to the palate and this dram bursts with fresh citrus and dark chocolate, some sweet smoked meats with more dark fruits pushing forward, toasted fruit loaf, strawberry and raspberry coolie, some dark vanilla.
