Nose: A complicated stunning nose from this Amontillado cask delivering lots of rich aromatic fruit notes, some tangy almost iodine aromas, sweet crisp barley sugar notes with spices and melon richness.
Palate: More of the fruity notes we found in the nose are bursting out on the palate, sweet succulent dates, raisins and redcurrants, some soft chewy caramel, a little salted toffee popcorn.
Lingering smooth and very warming across the palate.
