A charming release from up-and-coming independent bottler Fruitful Spirits. This is an ex-Bourbon barrel release from Speyside’s Glentauchers, a renowned blending malt that also shines on its own. Only 134 bottles have been released.
Nose: Gentle vanilla pods and toffee are immediately apparent, along with creamy coconut and an aromatic grassiness.
Palate: A puddingy toffee gives a buttery texture, with a dusting of gentle cinnamon spice and dried orange peel cutting through.
Finish: Medium, round and gently warming with fudge and more coconut.
