Glengoyne 25 Year Old

A masterclass in beautifully aged single malt Scotch, this Glengoyne official bottling has been aged for a quarter of a century in sherry casks. Elegant and unpeated, it’s presented in a wooden box in a bespoke bottle with a metal stopper. We enjoy the subtle feather design on the back – but not as much as the gloriously sumptuous, nutty whisky itself.

Tasting note:

Nose: Bold and rich, with dried figs, raisins and orange peel. There’s a nuttiness in with the warming spices, along with hints of dusty old books.

Palate: Dark chocolate arrives first, swiftly followed by rich vanilla pods, Christmas cake, marzipan and toasted oak.

Finish: Gently warming, with the spices transforming into black pepper.
