This dram is a marriage of single malts including Ben Nevis that seamlessly blend together to deliver a great tasting palate that outshines other blended malts in the category. It's 58% vol but not overwhelming on the taste buds.
Nose: Sherry cask notes are ever present, some dark fruits with a softer smooth note that you find in much older drams.
Palate: from the off this is a dram of depth and quality but it breathe a little to uncover ginger snaps and brandy butter, raisins and white chocolate flakes. A lingering smooth finish that really takes you by surprise.
