Glenburgie 27 Year Old 1995 Milroy's Vintage Reserve 52.3% 70cl

Part of the latest drop in the Milroy’s Vintage Reserve series, this beautifully aged Glenburgie expression was chosen by our in-house team for its vibrant fruitiness. Every bottling in this collection eschews powerful cask finishes to let the distillate’s character shine, and this release paints a fascinating picture of the Speyside distillery. Usually reserved for blending, this is a rare opportunity to explore an older release from the single malt producer from a hogshead.

Tasting note:

Nose: Aromatic and mouthwatering, the nose opens with boiled sweets before orchard fruit, milk chocolate and a dusting of liquorice arrive.

Palate: Surprisingly zesty for its age, the release opens with marmalade on toast before pomegranate and earthy sweet spices arrive.

Finish: Medium length with more of those spices.
