Glen Scotia 28 Year Old 1992 #7 43.3% - 70cl
A great Vintage from Campbelltown bottled exclusively for Milroy's
This single malt was distilled on 22/01/1992, after ageing in the cask until 29/08/2020 a total outturn of 178 bottles came from the Bourbon barrel. (Cask No 7)
Nose: Rich with some soft ripe orchard and vine fruits, cider apples and that classic hint of sea aromas, the richness of the nose grows in the glass, some oak and spice adds a nice tangy note, with a hint of leather bound books in an old library and springtime grass.
Palate: Smooth tones on the front of the palate, then and rather funky flavours we love about a good Campbeltown single malt shine through, with fresh baked fruit cake wrapped in parchment, ripe and sweet pears, a little oily as this dram coats the whole palate with bold and forward maritime flavours, salted toffee, sliced peach with crushed black pepper.
A fantastic rare vintage single malt from Campbeltown.
