A decadently rich and well matured Glen Grant, aged for 30 years in bourbon barrel. Glen Grant is one of the classic Speyside whiskies where the production methods have not changed since the 1960s. The result is a classic style Speyside single malt full of mature fruit flavours and bottled at an impressive cask strength of 57.5%abv.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Peach cobbler, toasted malt loaf and caramel
Palate: Rich & bold with lingering stone and orchard fruits. With water the fruits become somewhat tropical. Think juicy mangoes and roasted pineapple
Finish: The impressive strength carries the fruity and malty flavours through to a long and lingering finish
