Glen Grant 1964 Moon Import The Animals (Snakes) 46% Vol -75cl 

This is a very rare Glen Grant distilled in 1964, then matured in Sherry Butt 1-2-3 until it was bottled in 1989 

Nose: Rich and exotic fruit aromas, some hints of blackcurrant and cinder toffee (A rich honeycomb toffee) damson jam, Victorian sponge cake with fresh whipped cream, some spices and black pepper. 

Palate: Smooth and mellow opening  with a touch of cinnamon and hints of apricots, some, maple syrup and toasted waffles, a building and warming spice note in the mid palate, forest fruits a hint of tobacco leaf, a nice mix of dark fruits and light sweet spices in to the lingering finish.
