Nose: A creamy note opens the nose, some soft chewy popped rice and toffee, malted biscuit and porridge with brown sugar and warm milk. Some fresher notes push into the nose, like fresh cut green leaves, a hint of spiced oak and soft ginger.
Palate: More taste forward then we might have thought with the nose so this is going to be a good dram, pears and spiced apples, some toasted oak and smoke building up a little before a deliciously creamy fruit note. Some more of those green notes towards the mid and late palate, and a final flourish of apple skins.
