A very exciting release from independent bottler Càrn Mòr, part of its Strictly Limited range. This expression was distilled at Speyside’s Dailuaine distillery back in 2017. Since then, it’s been maturing in first-fill sherry casks. The results are vibrantly fruity, with an array of toffee, raisins and dried peach notes lifting up the earthy distillery character. Dailuaine mostly produces blends, so it’s fun to see how it shows up in a stand-alone bottling.
