Wood: STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) American oak ex-red wine casks and premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels.
Nose: A very rich and enticing nose, honey, some vanilla and butterscotch some sweet light fruits peaches & apricots and lemon drizzle, hint of marzipan.
Palate: Some delicious citrus on the palate, candied Orange and a subtle lemon cheesecake base, notes of tannin-rich malt, rich dark sugar, dried sultana and raisin cake bars with a long and resinous finish that includes some dark red fruits and a hint of treacle.
