Cask Orkney 18 Year Old / AD Rattray / 46% / 70cl
Nose: This dram has a subtle and soft start on the nose, some rich oily fruity notes with ripe sweet green apples some spices like nutmeg, cocoa nibs with some additional wood spice, sea salt and a hazy smoke.
Palate: A nice mouth coating flavour with rich creamy toffee, peach melba and apricot, toasted almond and pecans with a creamy velvety texture of cream and vanilla. The finish is wonderful with a rich nutty and dry taste on a lightly charred background
