From the grain distillery that started it all comes this unique single cask 1991 Cambus.

Cambus distillery opened around 1806 run as a small concern until around 1836 when it started to grow due to demand and later around 1851 it was expanded further, it had closed for around 23 years from 1914 onwards following a fire, production starts back up until 1993 when it was closed as a distillery.
With each sip you drink in some of Scotlands lost distilling history.

Nose: On fist pouring one might think this is a sherry cask of some sort maybe but it soon settles into the classic rich Cambus we might hope to find.
Aroma of red fruits like berries and soft ripe strawberries, a little dry spice and peppery notes lift the nose a little more.

Palate: creamy rich mouth feel from the cask is really playing its role with this fine vintage, Cornish cream soft candies and custard, peach with raisins, some milk chocolate and raspberry coolie.
Delicate spices and orchard fruits take us to a nice lingering finish. As this is one of the best vintage grain whiskies you could wish for.
