Caisteal Chamuis 12 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Finished in Oloroso sherry cask.
Nose: With Almond, vanilla, peat add in some sherry notes. Pizza oven wood smoke, apple. Some hints of white pepper, and some vegetable notes, some dark berries and damsons, citrus and some peat.
Palate: Very tangy at times with a deliciously intriguing seaside notes, orange segments and chewy toffee and vanilla spiced bun’s hints of fresh baked soda bread and smoked meats with a little oily peat and olive oil, very fruity and balanced on the finish with more smoke and peat to tempt you back for one more glass.
