The special edition Bunnahabhain release for 2023 Feis Ile festival. This single malt was matured in American oak casks and finished in first-fill Manzanilla sherry casks for 6 years.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Buttery almond pastries, Turkish delight, a dusting of nutmeg and rich leather.
Palate: Coastal smoke hits first. Waves of seaweed and salt spray give way to sweet, stewed apples and fruit-filled Christmas cake covered in thick marzipan.
Finish: long and spicy with candied nuts, star anise and pear.
